The AMERICAN ASSOCIATES OF THE SAINT CATHERINE FOUNDATION is a tax-exempt public charity incorporated in the United States in 1997, with the Hon. George Bush and HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan as Honorary Patrons.

The foundations support conservation work at Saint Catherine’s Monastery, Mount Sinai, Egypt.

The monastery’s Library is the present focus of conservation activities.

L’ASSOCIATION SUISSE DES AMIS DE LA FONDATION SAINTE-CATHERINE a été créée à Genève en 1999 afin de soutenir l’œuvre de conservation de la bibliothèque du monastère entreprise par la Fondation Sainte-Catherine à Londres, en association avec celle des Etats-Unis. Les Membres d’Honneur sont Monseigneur Damianos, Archevêque du Sinaï; Monseigneur Joseph Roduit, Abbé de Saint-Maurice; Mme Leia Boutros-Ghali; Doyen Charles Genequand; et Prince Hussein Toussoun.
