The first phase of the monastery’s Life and Fire Safety project is now underway: the design of a new electrical system for Saint Catherine’s. The age of the existing network and the number of piecemeal repairs have made its replacement a priority.

ACE (Arab Consulting Engineers), one of Egypt’s most respected engineering firms, is designing the new system.
