The foundation supports conservation work at Saint Catherine’s Monastery, Mount Sinai, Egypt.

In 2003 leaves from an Arabic manuscript were discovered glued to the wall of a disused cell in the west range of the monastery. The project to detach and preserve these manuscript fragments was undertaken by the UK conservator Jane McAusland, with the assistance of Maria Kalligerou. Both are members of the Camberwell survey teams.
